Helen Langgle has enjoyed the spacious privacy of one of our two room apartments at Saint Thomas since she arrived here in July, 2007. Born near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she worked in the steel mills during World War II.

Helen's husband died in 1983. She lived in La Verne in Southern California where she worked in a glass factory for 18 years. She moved to Turlock several years ago to be close to her son and his family who reside here. She also had a daughter who passed away just a few years ago after suffering from cancer. She has four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Helen is pleased that her son recommended Saint Thomas to her. She enjoys her retirement and the best part is that here is no housework. "I love it here. They do everything for me."
